Ingredients

4 white fish fillets (cod, tilapia, or haddock)

1 cup panko breadcrumbs

1/2 tsp paprika

1/2 tsp garlic powder

1/2 tsp onion powder

1/4 tsp black pepper

1/2 tsp salt

2 eggs

1/4 cup flour

Olive oil spray

Optional: lemon wedges, fresh parsley, dipping sauce

Instructions

Pat fish fillets dry with paper towels to remove moisture.

Set up 3 shallow bowls: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with panko breadcrumbs mixed with spices.

Dip each fillet into flour, then egg, then press into the seasoned panko.

Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C) and spray the basket lightly with olive oil.

Place fish fillets in the basket in a single layer—do not overlap.

Air fry for 10–12 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crispy.

Serve hot with lemon wedges and your favorite dipping sauce.

    Notes

Use panko breadcrumbs for maximum crispiness.
You can use frozen fish—just thaw and dry it well before breading.
Add cayenne pepper or lemon zest to the breadcrumb mix for a flavor boost.
To make it gluten-free, use gluten-free panko and flour.
Spraying the fish with olive oil helps get that golden color without deep frying.
